Apply for This Role

Your Role at ELab AI

You'll lead the advisory work that makes implementation possible. We need someone who understands how investment managers and family offices operate, can earn the confidence of their teams and can carry an engagement from discovery into delivery alongside our engineers.

What You'll Do

Understand the Business

Run interviews and workshops with leaders and the people doing the work. Map the workflows, decisions and information that matter, including where knowledge and data are difficult to access.

Set a Practical Direction

Assess opportunities against business value, delivery effort and risk. Build a clear recommendation with priorities, owners and measures of success.

Bring Investment Experience

Apply your understanding of investment research, reporting and operating processes. Recognise where confidentiality, governance and review requirements shape the solution.

Connect Advice to Delivery

Translate the findings into requirements the engineering team can build against. Stay involved as the work is tested, decisions change and the client starts using it.

Build Team Confidence

Guide teams through new ways of working with AI. Establish clear expectations, support adoption and check whether the work is improving against the agreed baseline.

What You'll Bring

  • You bring substantial experience in investment management, family offices or advisory work closely connected to their operations.
  • You've led client engagements or internal change programmes from an unclear problem through to implementation.
  • You can build trust with senior leaders and work closely with operational teams to understand the detail.
  • You use AI in your own work and can discuss its limitations, information requirements and practical applications with confidence.
  • You can turn interviews and analysis into clear requirements, recommendations and delivery priorities.
  • You bring commercial judgement and can explain the expected value of a change without overstating what technology will deliver.

Useful Experience

These would give you a head start. You don't need every one.

  • Investment reporting, research workflows, fund operations or portfolio-company improvement.
  • Process improvement, knowledge management and data governance.
  • Working with engineers on software or AI implementation.
  • Facilitating workshops and supporting teams through adoption.

Let's Talk About Your Next Step.

Tell us about an engagement or operational change you led: what needed to improve, your contribution and what happened in practice. Include your CV or profile and a brief note on how you're using AI today.

Please leave out confidential client information. A description of your contribution is enough.
