Apply for This RoleYour Role at ELab AI
You'll lead advisory engagements with industrial, construction and field-services businesses. We need someone who understands operational constraints, can work with both leadership and frontline teams and can turn what they learn into practical improvements alongside our engineers.
What You'll Do
Understand Work on the Ground
Run interviews and workshops with the people planning, supervising and doing the work. Map the decisions, handovers and information gaps that affect delivery.
Find the Right Opportunities
Assess where AI can improve workflows such as estimating, maintenance planning, field reporting or access to procedures. Prioritise against operational value, effort and risk.
Make Expertise Accessible
Capture the knowledge and data experienced people rely on. Work with client teams to establish clear sources, ownership and review practices so others can use that expertise.
Connect Advice to Implementation
Turn findings into requirements and work with engineers to test the solution in its operating environment. Account for existing tools, connectivity and the conditions people work in.
Support Safe, Lasting Adoption
Keep safety responsibilities and human review clear. Support teams as they adopt new practices and measure changes in turnaround time, quality or throughput against the starting point.
What You'll Bring
- You bring substantial operational or advisory experience in industrial businesses, manufacturing, construction, infrastructure or field services.
- You've led process improvements or operational change through to implementation and can explain what improved in practice.
- You can build trust with senior leaders, supervisors and frontline teams, and understand why a process works differently on paper and on site.
- You use AI in your own work and can assess where it is useful, what information it needs and where human judgement remains essential.
- You can turn operational detail into clear requirements, business cases and a practical delivery plan.
- You understand safety, quality and compliance responsibilities and can recognise when specialist input is needed.
Useful Experience
These would give you a head start. You don't need every one.
- Maintenance and asset management, estimating, production planning or field-service delivery.
- Lean Six Sigma or another practical process-improvement discipline.
- Knowledge management, documented procedures and operational data.
- Introducing software or AI capabilities alongside technical teams.
Let's Talk About Your Next Step.
Tell us about an operational improvement you led: the problem on the ground, how you worked with the team and what changed. Include your CV or profile and a brief example of how you're using AI today.
Please leave out confidential client information. A description of your contribution is enough.
